It will be their fault (those activists and talaba/tahong fisherfolks) if Cavite's traffic situation got worse. Sana isipin din nila ang kapakanan ng karamihan ng mga Caviteño as we have enough of the traffic situation!

The government can do something like a new livelihood program and the like (for those who will be affected), but for those who resist the construction of the new Expressway shall damn the rest of the province into retrogression.

One thing about some militant groups is that they are seemingly myopic and consumed with so much idealism that they are leaving the forefronts of reality. Yes, there might be "tong-pats" in the project, kelan naging hindi? But risking the reclamation project is madness!
very well said..

To alleviate most traffic and most of the problems of our country, I think we should contemplate of having traditional politician to line up at Rizal Park ( KM.0 / Luneta) for firing squad. Take for example Sen.Nene Pimentel who disrupted the MMDA road works at Talaba. Widenning of Talaba portion would have certainly resulted in faster traffic going in and out of cavite. That portion serves as a bottleneck. Next to fall in line should be Traffic enforcers who have no common sense. At the Longos flyover, it is common practice for buses to load and unload at both ends, while Cavite traffic enforcers don't react even if I blow my horn at them.

Sinabo mo from the barangay leaders up to the highest level mga corrupt at tan-ga.

All because the mayor tolerates this.

anyway san b terminus ng expressway n 'to? Naic b or Ternate? or will it make a loop along the west and south coast of Cavite and will connect to the terminus of STAR Tollway in Batangas City. That must be the route! Exits lng kailangan every town. Mbubuo na Masterplan natin.

I would certainly want the likes of BF to become pressident of our country, but since most Filipinos can't differentiate REAL life with REEL life (movies), only the likes of Erap will win.

May I also ask everyone to call the attention of Sec. Serge Remonde who is in charge of INFRASTRUCTURE MONITORING Task Force to register here and give updates. He should regularly update the People of the Philippines on the status of Infrastructure Projects. So that people may know that the government is doing something usefull.

Last I heard, the target date of completion of Manila-Cavite Coastal road extension is November 2008 (according to SONA2007). Is the project on-track to meet that target?

Sec. Remonde please respond.
