The harbour bath is prosponed, and will not be build this year, because the SHIP project is going under construction soon. The beach bar will also be moved to a new location.

So things are moving so rapid with construction at the docklands that 3. stage of infrastructure developments are about to be started. These include:

(In danish):

Anlægsopgaverne omfatter blandt andet etablering af tværveje omkring byggefelt 8
færdiggørelse af Dagmar Petersens Gade langs
Z-Huset
Vejbro til Ø1 inkl. færdiggørelse af kanal mellem Ø1 og Bernhard Jensens Boulevard
del af bugtpromenade på Ø1
Bugtpromenade på Ø2
Midlertidig vejadgang til Ø2
Kvartersplads inkl. P-kælder på Ø2.

In total costs are DKK 113 mill. Most of the projects will be completed this year while a few spans into 2012.

That timetable is pretty outdated. Lighthouse isn't ready yet, Z-huset hasn't even begun building above the ground. SHIP probably isn't ready on the 1st of january 2014. But the rest of the projects is more or less on time, is my guess. Isbjerget is according to this video, done in the summer of 2013:
http://jp.dk/jptv/nyheder_erhverv/er...cle2752359.ece

Also the Havnehusene project isn't on the list, just as Pakhus 2013.
If anyone wants a good view of the new harbour, they should take a walk around Nordre Kirkegård. From there it is possible to really see the scale of these projects and the remaining free building space. Its pretty impressive. Also the model of the entire harbour at Arealudvikling, which has been mentioned before, is a fun thing to go and see.

The first? cruise tourists were visting Aarhus today and the Universe tent were not prepared yet as seen.

So this is what the cruise tourists got instead:

Though the construction activity must have amazed them:

Sorry for the poor image quality. They were taken with my phone.

Yes, we're lucky in the Danish forum, we're blessed with some the best photographers on SSC Nordic.

Finally a number of new tenders are initiated at Aarhus Docklands, which is very important as the current, known projects probably are completed within 3-4 years. A solid pipeline of projects are essential to ensure that the docklands can evolve and be completed within a decade, hopefully.

The tendes concern the following plots on pier 4 of the harbour:

1. Pier 4, Plot 5, Part 2, 3 Building opportunities <-- This is the final plot of land available between the project "Havnehusene" and the Youth highrises.
(In danish: Byggefelt A udgør ca. 680 m^2 med mulighed for opførelse af 4.100 etm^2
boligbebyggelse.
Byggefelt B udgør ca. 490 m^2 med mulighed for opførelse af 4.700 etm^2 boligbebyggelse.
Byggefelt C udgør ca. 400 m^2 med mulighed for opførelse af 4.700 etm^2
boligbebyggelse).

2. Pier 4, PLOT 1B, 2 & 3 <-- The land next to the Iceberg and the "Pakhus 2013"-project.

I will return with the result of the tenders when made publicly available.
