I don't know such places where abandonned cars just sit in the street. they would be towed away if standing somewhere like this.

Spotted in my metro area. Not exactly abandonned, just waiting for better time to come:

Vintage Skoda I've once spotted in some polish village, waiting for a buyer:

Polski Fiat 125p - I used to own one of these, 1968, ivory with red interior :

Crappy, unused polish fiats in my hood:

And a Moskvitch, that used to park about 300 meters from my home for years. Now it's gone, as the apartment builing is U/C on this site:

Another one from my hood, Zastava:

Not exactly wrecks, but unused for a long time

Ane here's the real wreck, Lotus Elan:

Design is french, but the scheme is polish. I guess it's an old plate from Warsaw voivodship (WAM 7964). Note the CD oval - I suppose it used to be some diplomat's car. With those old polish white-on-black plates thing like that happened - not often, but I used to see some with unusual font, french-like-style etc.

What about taking these cars to a graveyard?
In Belgium when there is such a car somewhere, it's towed away to a graveyard.

Anyway.

Here is a nice graveyard in Belgium. The oldest cars in this graveyard date back to WWII and where left there by Canadians during the WW. I think it looks like an abandonned highway

Wow what a place! I would like to see! There's a similar place in Switzerland, a kind of cemetery for cars in the wood near Kaufdorf

Perfect scene for horror movies!
Unfortionatly the area is vandalised. Everthing is stolen from those vehicules. No license plates to be found anymore, every brand mark on the cars has been stripped of, even steering wheels have been stolen out of them...

Volkswagen Transporter

Mercedes-Benz 914

Two trucks, unknown models (but the truck on the right should be a Fiat)
