Wreck and abandoned cars - Page 5

Yes, I've taken this pic in Milan, in a not so much good hood....

Scrapyards can't take a wrecked or abandoned car for free as long as even an abandoned car has a owner. But I know there are "special" scrapyards specialized in the rescue and save of interesting classic cars abandoned or in bad conditions to restore. If the car has a plate, from the register you can get to know the owner, and make him an offert to get the car. If the car has papers nomore, it's bit complicated but not impossible.

In the case of the pic above, here has to be the comune Milano to remove and confiscate the car which looks abandoned bringing it to a junkyard for confiscated cars. Maybe after have found the owner and invite him to remove his car hisself (But this I have doubt they'll do)

No, it is a late 50´s Simca Aronde !!! There is one in better condition a few streets away from mine.

The body looks good, I guess the engine's dead. I guess it will take a lot of skills and money to rebuilt it.

Not a wreck or abandoned but close. If the driver has a cross hanging in the mirror he probably expects God to help him out of trouble. Usually immigrants have this.
