Is this relating to the current Amarone restuarant space or somewhere else?

Amarone is basement level, so it's probably unaffected.

Akbars should be opening on the 24th of Feb if all is still going to plan
![]() I am not sure how many of you have tried it - but I think they will fill the shoes of Tiffin Rooms very well It will certainly become my desitnation of choice once it opens |

It is the Grand Opening of Akbars tonight - which is strictly invite only (i'm going!), and then it opens to the general public at 5pm tomorrow
Looking forward to it - and I strongly recommend everyone gives it a try sooner rather than later

The launch went great - think there was about £2,000,000 worth of Rolls Royce Phantoms parked in a line right outside!!
I counted at least 5 in a row, plus an R8 convertible, Lambo Gallardo! It was more a networking type standing around event, with some very fine looking ladies walking around with trays of food - and it was lovely to say the least. I am a regular at their English branches, and the food has never once let me down. I am going down tonight for a proper meal now that it is open to the public Highly recommend the masala fish / lamb chops starters, and for mains I can't get enough of the keema mattar (mince & peas), and don't even get me started on their desserts..... Fantastic looking decor - no expense spared. I am sure you will all be very impressed. Akbars is fast becoming a sort of experience, as opposed to just good food |

Sounds awesome, did they do burnouts on homeless peoples faces before setting them on fire with their Dunhills?

Come on on guys - not exactly anything to do with the restaurant itself if all these well off people attended the launch night!
Give it a go - very reasonable prices! And licensed, unlike some other popular Indian Restaurant's these days ![]() I was there last night for a proper meal and loved it as always, and am most likely going back again tonight - and that is on top of me going at least once a week to their English branches!! (i work in England during the week)

![]() Nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about my favourite Indian place. Check my other posts, I am just as enthusiastic about Krispy Kreme! Haha |

Not sure if this will interest anyone...
The Sub Club on Jamaica Street has just reached it's 25th birthday! One of, if not THE best club in Glasgow. We need a few more like these and less Savoys! http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/showbiz...6908-23823212/ |
