whoa! Almost no North Indian cities can qualify for this thread. Our tier 2 buildings don't scrape the sky much. But nice thread.

I retract my statement. Just remembered that Kanpur and even Meerut are sprouting skyscrapers. Will post pics when I travel there.

Meerut|Meerut Sports City| ? floors|Topped out

The buildings are already topped out. I'll post actual photos when I go around that place and my next post will hopefully be more effort-intensive than this one.

Kochi is a tier I city, so it should not count. Kochi even has its own IPL team.

The title says beyond the metros, unless Kochi has become metro?

Neverever expect a 'metro' from Kerala based on Indian parameters (Population). Hope all of you know about Kerala's population distribuition... We cant compare kerala with other states. Its an exceptional case in India. We always discuss according to Indian parameters. Its entirely different from Kerala and highly densited even more than Bihar and Bengal according to Liveable areas. In other states people lives thickly only on metors. If Kerala is a big metro, Kochi will be the Nariman Point or Cannaught place of the state.
