#Approved: The Domaine- 52st/163m,spire177m/res
The Domaine at 475 Adelaide St.
Official site: www.thedomaine.com.au ![]() It will be 145m and 45 stories it will sit beside Skyline Apartments (160m) (and hopefully help made the admiralty district look.. better) Will also make it onto the top 10 list i believe. (Created a new thread because the old one went missing and the other one i made was needing to be renamed but i always get ignored. simple solution was a new thread) |

I must say I'm already against this development, purely because of the image on the official website. I want to see a render, not some guy naked in the bath with a suggestive grin on his face.
Alright so it'll probably work for some of you. Blend - is Domaine the white building? If so where's Skyline.

I was thinking that. I Guess these guys arent forward thinking enough to include it.
whats weird is that it looks to be in skylines position. Im pretty sure skyline will block its view of the river tho.. |

Cool another. That side of town might start looking a little strange though will all the new towers. Is skyline apartments going to begin next week?

I'm absolutely stunned (if not incredibly jealous) by Brisbane's progress. You guys must be having the time of your lives right now.
The best part is that the quality of most of the proposed developments is excellent, which makes sense, given the likely competitiveness in the Brisbane market. An honest question though, as I'm not fully up on just how much Brisbane is booming - how are all of these new towers, both residential and commercial, going to be substantially filled out? Given that your population is not that much bigger than Adelaide or Perth's, it would amaze me if your market is big enough to facilitate the proposals/developments. I must obviously be wrong, as no doubt, developers won't present anything to the market that they don't feel will generate enough of a return to satisfy their bankers, but where are all these buyers and tenants coming or going to come from? |

apartments are being bought up as soon as their released, and ive read that it isnt slowing down any time soon. Theres big demand for inner city living.
As for office, im not sure. There isnt too much office going up compared to resi. (Bsquare, Bottom of vision, some of riparian) So i guess the demands there for that. Bsquare is already got tenants. |

There was an article only yesterday in the Courier Mail saying that Brisbane’s growing apartment market is growing really only because of owner-occupiers, with investors mostly unwilling to commit. Supposedly, the September quarter was the best yet for apartment sales even with the lack of interstate investment and the strong growth last year. I think a lot of people are starting to see the benefit of either city living or inner-city living. My own area (around southbank, west end, highgate hill) is still growing, with more projects appearing every month.
I like this project, and hope that it will drag up the area a bit… |
