Oh, thats better.

At first, first ever McDonalds was opened in 1990, last year of soviet power.

At second, our life was quite prosperous here in Moscow in 90s(while all Russia lived in poverty before Putin times, but FREEDOM OF SPEECH ETC), dad was a manager of famous georgian restaurant, lots of russian celebrates were attending it.

People looked different from todays(i mean clothes), there wasn't a middle class, as it today.
There weren't interesting art centres, if they were , they were in Moscow only.

So, we had those snacks, that we havent got today

As I remember, I lived near Belarusskaya Railway Station, which is situated right of Moscow.

Back then, there was massive freedom of speech, lots of private and independent channels, newspapers, magazine which werent owned by state.

Situation is better in Moscow, but worse in Russia

I've just realised how analogous the Volga Federal District was to the American Midwest.

As everyone in the world. It was the 1st in Russian trends of Twitter a couple of days ago.

People were remembering him not only for his Trolololol, but for his old soviet songs. Many generations of russian liked his songs, and still know them
