The Sudanese Revolution

This thread is for all the Sudanese who want a Democratic government. If you are fed up with the mistreatment by the government, marginalized, ignored then you are in the right thread. Otherwise F off. How long has the al-bashir family been running Sudan? For how long are we gonna keep letting them steal our resources. We have done it in 1964, 1985, we can do it today for ones and all.

PASS IT ON,
every Sudanese send text
messages, e-mails to all Sudanese
they have on their contact list and
ask them to pass it on,
And YES WE CAN!!!!
JAAATAT ’7LAS!

Unfortunately, if Sudan truly follows the examples of Tunisia and Egypt, the local government may interfere with citizens’ ability to access the social network. Tunisian officials allegedly did this by hacking individual accounts, while the Egyptian government completely blocked first Twitter and Facebook, and then all Internet access.

What do you think will happen in Sudan tomorrow, both offline and with respect to Facebook? And will the site become the standard method for protesting government?

This is 2011, Is Sudan gonna be the only country without Democracy??

Sudan gives top jobs to opposition sons

Quote:
Sudan appointed the sons of two prominent opposition figures as presidential assistants, state media reported on Wednesday, in a possible move to form a more inclusive government as the country faces rebellions and an economic crisis.

Inflation in Sudan hit 19.8 percent in October, about double the level a year ago, an economic hardship exacerbated by the secession of oil-producing South Sudan in July .

The country is also fighting armed insurgencies in its South Kordofan and Blue Nile border states and western Darfur region.

President Omar Hassan al-Bashir is expected to unveil a new cabinet soon to bring in fresh faces after southern ministers left with the south's secession.

Jaffar al-Sadiq al-Mirghani, son of the opposition Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) chairman, was appointed presidential assistant, as was Abdel Rahman al-Sadiq al-Mahdi, son of the head of the Umma Party, state radio said.

Bashir appointed three other presidential assistants and seven presidential advisors, state media reported.

The Umma Party and DUP briefly governed Sudan in a coalition during the years before the 1989 coup that brought Bashir to power.

South Sudan voted overwhelmingly for independence in a January referendum, the culmination of a peace deal that ended decades of civil war with the north.

Another reason to believe Al-bashir offers the top positions only to his family members(tribe).. I know some of you are still supporting like you are gonna get something from him. Some of you who support him don't live in Sudan. You dont go through the Hardship ordinary Sudanese do. No running water, 50% of the population cant offered a simple three meal a day.

These next few are in an area of Khartoum called Al Daim

They burned 3 police buses/trucks, burnt down a police station, and in another area called Intisad Nasir, burned 2 big public buses to block the streets so police can't come in

the burning of the tires on the street pisses me off. If they can protest peacefully they should. If they have to burn peoples tax money away they should go home. Perfectly clean/new street burned

I agree but burning tires keep the police away, without them it would be too easy for the police to arrest them

I agree with you guys the street and tire burining makes them seem like holigans or mobs. I think their intention is probably to get attention.

.

Death certificate of Amir Kamal Bayoumi, who opposition pages claimed that he was killed by police because of the use of tear gas and here shows the date and cause of death.
