I hope everyone that visits the Tamil Nadu sub forum also visits the Chennai forum, still I think we should post about this meet in the Tamil Nadu chaibar as well.

Please do something for us (NRI's) and people who are not in chennai . We feel bit alienated . Could we have a video conferencing ( Skype , video call ) , I dont know whether we have such facility in skype or anything which can host many people video conferencing ??

I guess I can participate in the video-conference too. If it is 24th I will be in Bahrain at my father's place, with loads of time to kill. Anytime after Jan 2nd is difficult, but I can make it if I'm free.

As per majority availability, it is Jan 7th Saturday. Can we keep that as final ?

Reg timing, I prefer morning since less traffic. Start early and Breakfast on the way to Late Lunch. Venue for Lunch - Chennai Youth Decision.

But how many can get up early that too on a Saturday morning ?

No. of Participants is more important than traffic. Pl decide on the timing now.

I want both Vicvin & CP with their Still / Video cameras fully loaded. (Vicvin may have to take Close Up photos also this time).

Based on the timing the route can be fixed up. As per my experience, early morning NH4 is a pleasure to drive. If we get delayed, by the time we cross Poonamallee / Motel Highway, we get fatigue.

Similarly OMR gets crowded from 8 am onwards. Saturday may a bit relaxed.

I will bring my Innova which can accommodate total 7. I will drive and so we can have 6 others. If Ferrari Fan is in town on 7th, he can bring his car. (FF, Neenga Real Ferrari la varuveengannu naanga expect pannarom - deliberately written in Tanglish to make you work to understand this). IF FF brings real Ferrari, neenga yaravadhu Innova ottunga

Based on the total nos, we may need another car. Any voulanteer ? If another car is not available, another Innova or similar SUV can be hired.

Are you guys ok with my route plan mentioned earlier ? Any additions / suggestions? If time permits, we will see ORR alignment also.

NRI Guys ! Summa Fun comments aduchu escape avaatheenga. If you want to see Chennai with us, you have to sponsor (Avvalo Easiya vittuduvoma ?)

I am not a Geek. Is it possible to take a laptop with us and transmit via Skype or something to any one abroad and he can link with others.

I have seen some marriages being webcast to friends / relatives abroad. Is similar thing possible ? But travel time will be high and will be a waste.

Some one who is coming - please take up this responsibility.

Or we can record and upload (of course after editing)

Last but not the least. We have not yet received the International Money Transfer in $ & (where is Pound symbol?)
