No. of Participants is more important than traffic. Pl decide on the timing now.

Based on the timing the route can be fixed up. As per my experience, early morning NH4 is a pleasure to drive. If we get delayed, by the time we cross Poonamallee / Motel Highway, we get fatigue.

Similarly OMR gets crowded from 8 am onwards. Saturday may a bit relaxed.

I will bring my Innova which can accommodate total 7. I will drive and so we can have 6 others. If Ferrari Fan is in town on 7th, he can bring his car. (FF, Neenga Real Ferrari la varuveengannu naanga expect pannarom - deliberately written in Tanglish to make you work to understand this). IF FF brings real Ferrari, neenga yaravadhu Innova ottunga

Based on the total nos, we may need another car. Any voulanteer ? If another car is not available, another Innova or similar SUV can be hired.

Are you guys ok with my route plan mentioned earlier ? Any additions / suggestions? If time permits, we will see ORR alignment also.

I am not a Geek. Is it possible to take a laptop with us and transmit via Skype or something to any one abroad and he can link with others.

I have seen some marriages being webcast to friends / relatives abroad. Is similar thing possible ? But travel time will be high and will be a waste.

I am ok with 7th. Iam in EST so early morning IST works for me , but after 11 IST will be midnight for me iam sure you guys dont want to hear my snoring

Webcasting is possible but that is just like somebody showing a video in realtime (no body else can interact with them ) atleast that was the case when i did a webcast last time in April 2010. www.ustream.tv/ is the URL to do that.

Even i am not sure whether we can do a skype conferencing with multiple people let me do explore that.

Pl hook onto some Chennai based forumer (who is also coming) who can do this with you co ordinating from there.

If two way communication with all simultaneously is difficult or costly, then we can try webcast post SCR travel and from a station say restaurant within city. We can also talk to NRI individuals through Skype.

Then those guys who are into Skype can give their contacts so that each can be called individually.

We need one Chennai Geek for co ordination for this.

Pl note that we will be travelling in SCR and internet broadband may not be all that good in the outskirts.

Since our guys have lots of photo talents, limited users can also be allowed to upload pics in that website (with many more such trips possible in future).
