Ah yes that looks much better! I kind of like the idea of a painting on 4wtc now

What I love about glass buildings is that they change according to the sun, environmental factors and more importantly the angle.

^I'd say is pretty well spotted on, the glass at 4WTC is one of the most reflective of its type you'll ever find due to the high levels of iron, this thing can compete with the Cloud Gate in Chicago with no problem..

Though need to find a way to make it with higher levels of transparency at the diffuse layer when the sun hits directly the glass, too bad some natural phenomenons need to be recreated manualy in the CGI world.

Looking good, I love your technical descriptions of how you are experimenting and improving the renders.

Maybe the most complicated model I've ever done.

Of course I'm modeling it !! It won't be as accurate as I was expecting due to the lack of info aviable over the Internet... but every vertex should be located within a 3ft interval of error. Due to the complexity of the whole hub, 3D model won't be finished until next month. Also, need to finish the real model first, so stay tunned!

I think the effect is good but the bird really lets it down. Are you using Kerky to do this or Photoshop? Try using different tolerances on the magic wand tool to get a cleaner selection, and maybe find a sharper foreground image if the background's going to be so blurred.

Your window reflections look great - is it possible on Kerky to make windows semi reflective/semi transparent so you can see through them into the interior but also get the reflections of neighbouring buildings?

Impressive work except the bird that is included with difficulty in the last render.

Thanks for the feedback, guys, that's the type of comments I would like to hear. Anyways improving skills at Photoshop. Quite difficult to match the sun and weather conditions at both render & photo.

I use Vray and Photoshop. I'm learning how the magic wand works, thanks for the tip! Reflectiveness and transparency are two different properties that aren't opposite, even the most transparent glass has a degree of reflection.

Second try:
