Get of your high horse Woody. You've been abrupt with a lot of people recently. It's getting a bit annoying.

a website has been launched as part of a consultation exercise. what is wrong with encouraging you to get involved in said consultation?

Nothing is wrong with that but the way you write things Woody comes across quite patronizing.

The opinion was shared on this forum to discuss.

new images from different angles are now up on the following link, click on elevations on the left and scroll through.

Looks like they're carrying on around the corner of this for a bit with similar cladding to what will clad the Rep extension

http://future.thenia.co.uk/

Cant paste them here so youll have to click through

I have reservations about how well this will integrate with the existing structure.

I haven't seen any convincing renders where the new and old connect.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad this happening and would love to e proved wrong.

I would like the refurb to continue all the way around the arena, otherwise we will end up with an arena 'arse end' on St. Vincents Street, and this is never attractive on a city centre site.

Luckily this is I the periphery of the city centre and is not in the tourist sight lines.

But I am inclined to agree.

NIA looks like a best when your coming down Sand Pits from Tesco Island, it would look amazingif they did something with that side, I think they should expand it and make it a Bowl arena like M.E.N. and o2, the space is there to do it.

But the space is there, and the railway is already covered.

granted it would be amazing if the entire NIA was refurbed, but surely its good they they want to spend £20m on refurbing part to a really high quality (and the most prominant part might i add).... yes id like more, but i still like what i see...
