Any idea why the aerobridges have been fitted even though the apron work isn't complete...?

Most of the apron has been completet by now. I'd say 80%. Some parts havent been done because they're going to be inner roads for airport staff to use. They may be the last pieces of apron to be finished. A lot of dirt too

Jetways @ BOG

I have a question mr CW, if the new terminal has the concept of saving energy and having luminous spaces, WHY ARE THE NEW JETWAYS METALLIC INSTEAD OF BEING GLASS JETWAYS???

In mi opinion glass jetways would make the terminal look nicer and more modern than metalic jetways. The actual terminal has them and they look awful, and even though the new terminal jetways are also brand new I think it would have been way better choosing glass jetways.

This matter was raised in a discussion on another forum about BOG, and the answer CW gave was that they chose the metal jetways for security reasons.

I think are metalic for security reasons. If there is a fire would be easier for the people to cross it. Faster evacuation without hesitation.
Although I think its for economic benefits. They could recive money for advertising expose .
