The Mall
"Acropolis" is an iconic architectural masterpiece with an elegant elevation covered with a glass facade. The Acropolis Mall is spread across first 5 floors totaling to a gross leasable area of 2,88,000 sq ft., with the right retail mix layered with various kinds of retail zones, and will also house a four screen Multiplex, food Courts, Fine Dining restaurants, Family and Children entertainment areas and more. Three basement levels for parking are designed to accommodate 650 cars at a time.
The mall will house two anchor stores of 55,000 sq ft & 20,000sq ft each. All floors will be well connected by way of escalators and modern high speed passenger elevators.

The Commercial
A corporate skyscraper of stunning elevation with Plush office spaces measuring 1,000 sq ft onwards from the 6 to 18 floors. World-class features and facilities for health, leisure, security, convenience and e-connectivity.
The project also features a Business Club 'The Senate' with conference rooms, business centre, banquets, business lounge, gym, swimming pool, bar etc.

It is a Green Building Project certified by IGBC.

Acropolis Mall with the GLA (gross leasable area) of 250,000 sq.ft. and total built up area of 300,000 sq.ft. is targeting to open up during Diwali next year. The mall is located at RB connector in South Kolkata.

Acropolis has already signed up with Shoppers Stop as one of the key anchors and Cinepolis as a multiplex. The size of anchor store in the mall will be approximately 55,000 sq.ft, whereas mini anchors will be 20,000 sq.ft. and vanilla retailers will have 800--1,000 sq.ft. of space.

"Acropolis is a mix use development having a corporate tower from 5th floor to the 18th floor which complements and reciprocates the retail business in the mall below comprising of five levels and triple basement for car parking. The mall is conceptualized and designed by the world famous architectural firm Bentel & Associates of South Africa who have also designed South City Mall, Kolkata, The Oberoi Mall, Mumbai and Mantri Mall, Bangalore," said company spokesperson.

Acropolis will have revenue sharing and minimum guarantee model with its anchor stores, while vanilla stores will have pure rental models and for fine dining and QSR chains mall is ready for both the models, depending on the brand name and proposition.

However the Progress rate is not bad. Even if they cant meet the Diwali deadline they'll be close to that.
They are from the same architect so may be a similarity of the interior structure. But in any case it is much smaller than South City & often a marked difference is noticed between renders & actual so I guess it will not be as similar as the renders suggest.

What is that Gitanjali stadium beside Acropolis used for? Is it owned by any particular sports body for their athletes or is it open for public use?

P.S. I know this is off topic. I'm only asking because it is so prominent in the renders and photo updates...

It was developed jointly by PPP between KMDA & Merlin group. It is owned by KMDA & is for hire for junior level sports.
