Can the ports/airports handle the intra-movement from scotland to ireland and vice versa? Maybe it's better to do it like Ukraine & Poland and keep the teams from 2 groups in 1 country and the teams from the other 2 groups in the other country so there's a minimum of transport hassle between both countries.
I doubt that travelling between Poland/Ukraine is any easier than going between Scotland/Ireland/Wales. Just because they share a land border doesn't help in this instance.

Italy have failed in the last two bids marginally. They came 2nd for 2012, and 3rd for 2016 behind France and Turkey. With Turkey set to bid for either 2020 or 2024 (depending on the Olympics), you would think if Italy made a serious bid for either one of those two they would be in a good position.

Nonsense! Uefa will never award EURO 2024 to Russia! This would be just 6 years after the WC.
I guess there are many countries which are interested in the EURO 2024 like Italy, Nordic countries, Germany, Scotland!!!

Turkey is a bit politically unstable, a risky region.
Russia is to close to world cup 2018.
Italy has trouble with their state finances and match fixing.

I think.
Sctoland-Wales-Ireland: Seems like a nice bid, stable and some great arenas already. Three countries maybe one to much?

Sweden-Norway-Denmark:A nice bid, they’ve the economy and are politically stable. Norway and Denmark never hosted. Three countries. necessarry and maybe to many?

Romania-Bulgaria/Hungary:Maybe

Serbia/Bosnia:Maybe?

Germany:Maybe?

After 3 unsuccessful bids I think Hungary gave up it's EURO ambitions. Furthermore the economical circumstances hardly allow us to bid again. The new Debrecen stadium will have 20.000 capacity without expand opportunity. Maybe a new national stadium with a ~65k capacity and a new Ferencváros stadium with ~22k capacity will be built, but the latter is also too small for EURO bid. Győr's new (currently 14,6k capacity) stadium is expandable with new stands behind the goals, but I doubt, that it could reach the 30k capacity. Székesfehérvár's stadium is in a relatively good state with a new main stand, but it's still too big with it's ~14k capacity for Videoton, so there isn't any plan to expand it or build a new one. Miskolc may be considered too, but they've just got a brand new stand, what is too small again for EURO bid. Hungary is out of this game for a long time

Istanbul may be a stable and a modern city, but eastern Turkey is vey close to war-zones and more uncivillized. That may be a risk. Can they guarantee security in this regions and do they have good enough border control with Iran,Iraq,Syria etc.
But Turkey may get the euro2020 and will not be a candidate in 2024.

Turkey is a good candidate, but security in eastern turkey considering that they are very close to Iran,Iraq and Syria which is not stable?

If Hungary can go for a tripple-bid with Romania and Bulgaria they only need three stadiums. Hungary is a sleeping giant in football, they have great traditions for football back in the Puskas era. Hosting a euro could wake up the sleeping giant.
I think with 24 teams UEFA should allow a three country bid.

So:Wales-Scotland-Ireland
Romania-Bulgaria-Hungary
Norway-Sweden-Denmark

They’ve never hosted.

The EURO 2016 bid.
Maybe they will just add 1 or 2 cities

Actually there are no problems at the borders.

Great map. I think Turkey will be most likely to get euro 2020, and not 2024.How are the transportation between the cities, motorways/trains etc. Satisfying?

I think 2024 should go to northern europe. I think uefa should choose countries that never hosted.
Scotland-ireland-Wales or Norway-Sweden-Denmark
