Designed by Giovan Battista Crespi called Cerano (1614), moulded by Siro Zanella and Bernardo Falcone (1614-1697).

Height mt. 35 (mt. 23,5 without pedestal), copper, tallest baroque statue in the World.

Yes, it's in Via dell'Arsenale in the block of the Curia (between via Arcivescovado and via Lascaris). It's open almost only on Sunday mornings.

There are no records left, but the attribution to Guarini is virtually undebated. A triple dome in a scanty space: who else could design such a hyperbolic and mathematically complex venue in the late 17th century in Turin?

Guarini is the greatest baroque architect of the 17th century alongside Bernini and Borromini IMHO. Too bad much of his work in Messina, Paris, Prague and Lisbon hasn't survived to date.
