Link below is a video of some events held at the stadium today, at about 1.24 mins into the video you can see The Orbit, to me it would make the perfect Cauldron??

They must be planning permission for a cauldron? other wise its a clue that its
Orbit or the Stadium.
I am right planning permission was for a tall cauldron Out Side the Main Stadium?

I reckon it was the bubbled structure we saw them building inside the stadium a few months ago then it was moved to some location nearby for safe keeping.

I would guess that the planning permission could just to be put people off whats going to happen, & send everyone in wrong direction -the press will we on the case soon, and without planning permission it would be obviously the stadium roof or the Orbit? But I could be wrong?!

I don't think that's how bureaucracies work. They wouldn't have time for such foolishness and shouldn't.

No. The IOC rule is that it must first be seen by people attending the Opening ceremony and then be visible to most of the citizens of the host city.

Actually the planning permission is for further away from the stadium, near the four large huts with their back to the canal, around the area of that blue square.

well if it's on a tall slender pole it wont matter. Or one of those huts is a decoy!

There is no way it is going north of the stadium its either going to be a structure bolted onto the stadium or The Orbit.

That's where the planning permission is for and where the gas piping is.

If you look at this planning permission, it is for the laying of gas pipelines in area PDZ3a:

http://planning.london2012.com/publi...rchtype=WEEKLY

And on the application for the cauldron you notice the area surrounding the stadium and warm up track is named PDZ 3:

http://planning.london2012.com/uploa...1%20(2268).pdf

If we assume the PDZ 3 area is further split into small zones and logic would suggest the areas would be ranked from the north to the south, then PDZ3a would be to the north of the stadium, where the planning permission for the cauldron is.

With the wrap now being installed, is this the last major thing (other than ceremonial stuff ofc) to be revealed?

It's exciting, let's hope there's not an anticlimax when the suspense is over.
