That's why we need more inhabitants of Lyon in this thread, I am not living in Lyon and I don't necessary have all the informations.

Eurexpo.
This station is only open when there are exihibitions in Eurexpo

Nice silver lively.

Parc du Chêne is the terminal station when Eurexpo is closed

Most of the T5 line is shared with the T2, the western terminal stop of the T5 is Grange Blanche (also on T2) where there is an interchange with the metro line D and many bus lines.
Before being called T5, the previous name of the project was T2+ a branch of the T2.

I totally agree with you, and I really enjoy the way you post in international forum about Lyon. I'm not self confident enough about my skills in English to post more, actually.

I would not say that my English is great.
When I began to participate in this forum, back in 2005, my scores in English were low.

Ridership in 2011

Metro: 190,404,313 (+3,9%)
Bus and trolleybus: 148,412,159 (+7.5%)
Tramway: 59,796,637 (+4%)

The impressive growth of the funicular ridership (la Ficelle (the string), as we usually call it) can be explained by two things : there were less problems of avalaibility in 2011 and the commercial name changed from Funiculaire Saint-Jean (etc.) to F1 et F2, which made it much more integrate to the network as a real "everyday transport" and not as a funicular for tourists.

According to Trolleymotion, the re-eletrification of C13 has begun at the end of November 2012.

The stations look so dark and small. Is that just the photographs or is it really that dark?

It's the photography, but generaly the ceiling are dark grey, with white vertical wood panels.

Others pictures of Lyon metro stations, till page 4 included (except 3 or 4 which are parisian "Gare de Lyon" metro stations)

https://www.google.fr/search?q=stati...w=1177&bih=576

The main feature of our metro stations is possibly they are very short distance from ground level : Generally, no more than 30 steps, very few corridors

Great metro. I visited Lyon last October. It was my favorite city in France and I visited Paris and Nice as well.

Rebuilding of Oullins trains station.
With the extension of metro line B, the Oullins regional train station is being rebuilt to be become an intermodal hub.

Saint-André
Located in the quite narrow Rue de Marseille, this is one of the smallest and most inconspicuous tram station in Lyon.

The station facilities are located in the building on the street corner.

Brotteaux
The station is quite "big" despite being one of the last used of the network.
When the station was built, Brotteaux was one of the main railway station of Lyon, it closed in 1983 with the opening of Part-Dieu several hundred meters further.
As the result the metro station is bigger than the average but with a low traffic.
