I hope Harbin finally gets smart and expands it's subway system, with no over ground or elevated sections. Harbin's climate really demands a full subway (extreme winters and hot summers).

Does a railway station exist (or is one planned) for Hananzhan?

I think its planned as the station site is sitting beside a massive freight rail yard.

Not talking about Binjiang, talking about this:

The main Railway station, which is that station I arrived at when I went to Harbin. On the map, they are clearly different stations.

It takes 7 minutes to get from the Main Railway Station to Binjiang:

I've been living here for well over a year and have never heard of Binjiang station. There are two major passenger stations in Harbin. Harbin Station (Ha zhan) is where the purple line intersects with the China Railways line near "Binjiang" and will be the next stop from Bowuguan (Museum) station when that line is opened.

Harbin West Passenger Station (HaXiKeZhan) is where almost all the high speed CR trains depart from and will be a station on the yellow circle line. The station itself has already been built (HaXi was only opened last year, the subway station is in the basement) and so we're just waiting for it to be linked to the network. Hopefully they'll focus on building and opening the segment from HaXi to Yidaeryuan given that currently HaXi is a bit out from the centre of the city.

After a while, I managed to find Binjiang station on Baidu Maps. While it does appear to exist, I think the map posted by Woonsocket54 (#85) is a bit misleading. Binjiang should be shifted to just slightly left of GongChengDaXue, to show its position relative to the subway more accurately, I think.

Nice station design, a little more pillars than my liking though.

I like Harbin Metro's classical interiors but it's crazy that the maps lack English names. Foreign visitors will be lost.
