Somehow PT vehicles from North America always look more dated than the ones from Europe, even if new. European trams by Siemens look much more modern. There seems to be a taste difference in the public administration .

there are plenty of ways to reduce the size of a picture
this thread is already 3.6 megabytes

i have a 24" monitor and broadband but it still bothers me

use an image hosting server

Vancouver? Not so sure, Vancouver had a totally different built of trolley contemporary to Edmonton's BBC. Vancouver did collect one of Edmonton's BBCs after they were retired, that was unit 132, to this day I am not aware unit 132 had made to the road in Vancouver for fan trip yet. BBC, those wonderful babies that I've ridden for 19 years.

How about the LRT extention? Did they finally started construction of the north branch?
