Engineering question: Wind load

I'd have a small question, how does one calculate the wind load on a building? I can imagine it is related to the design and the area of it's walls but what is the equation to calculate it?

Well its not so easy to calculate that. However, in Germany it is reglemented in DIN 1055.

I don't know if you speak german. If so, this might help:
