Brooklyn & NJ, USA - Spring and Summer

I currently live in Manhattan, but I think there is a lot more to the NY area than just that. So here are some of my Spring and Summer hangouts in Brooklyn and NJ, to remind me that winter doesn't last forever! Hope you enjoy!

First up, Brighton Beach, and Coney Island. Seeing that I don't own a car, and that I speak a bit of Russian, I often find myself in this area, when the weather gets warm.

Amazing shots. 545 looks great and 064 in black and white (or sepia) would've rocked. I'd like to see some more shots of NJ. I don't know if you're posting more on page 2. Cheers.

THIS is why I miss Brooklyn. You show how nice BK can be for living compared to the insanity that is Manhattan lol.

Which bar in Williamsburg is that?

It's called Berry Park, on Berry Street, in Williamsburg. Pretty good views, slightly gourmet takes on things like sausages, burgers, (duck fat) fries, etc, and a good selection of German beers!

Thank you very much for your pictures! Although not as spectacular as Manhattan, Brooklyn really seems to be a charming and relaxing area to live which is perhaps more agreeable than the stressing life in Manhattan. I remember pretty bad pictures of Brooklyn in the 1960s and 1970s, so it is really surprising how nice, peaceful and secure it looks today in your pictures.

Thanks! My friend who still lives in BK, the Williamsburg Houses to be specific, was telling me about this place last summer (I think, unless there's another German beer garden in the neighborhood). Will make a point to check it out next time I'm back in NYC.
