800m.. Does it really need to be so big? I don't wanna sound like a dick and I too like tall buildings/structures but I don't understand why people make things big just for the sake of it

it's not that I don't like the design and it's not that I dont like tall buildings (otherwise I wouldn't have joined this site), I just don't see why a TV Tower needs to be so tall. I know this is just for fun so maybe I'm just thinking too realistically? But I was comparing it to the other buildings, which are tall themselves (approx 300m?) yet this is more than double the height and perhaps just a bit over the top baring in mind from the TV centre upwards, its about 700 metres of just steel work or whatever the frame is made from.
From the design on a computer, it looks beautiful.. I'm just looking at it as if it was real. Imagine standing at the bottom of it and looking up. also, pingyao I've seen your project and yes i thought that too was a bit over the top, but with yours I could just about see more of a purpose for that being so tall. |

 height of the tower - without antenna - 648m with - 800m observation deck (restaurants) - 620m technical rooms of television and radio - 272,140m strut base - 67m core - +0 + 648 high tower in order to simply look at the city from the heights to the television signal transmitted to the remote areas that had an excellent cellular and radio communication.

ah i get it now, From the first picture you gave, i could only see a building underneath the frame right at the bottom, and I presumed this was the TV Centre and the only accessible part of the tower.
Now you've shown what there is at different levels, I understand it better and the reasons behind it
