Na forach generalnie szeroko komentuja Barretty-Jacksony, za to że są tam wystawiane wozy robione na sprzedaż, rzekomo nigdy nie remontowane, a oczywiscie remontowane,albo wykończone niezgodnie z fabrycznym standardem, a jako takie przedstawiane, i sprzedawane po szaleńczych cenach.
łatwo gadać o największym. ( może on ma więcej takich niż inne np Russo and Steel, ale russo and steele ma 50 samochodów a Barret -jackson ma 500 na aukcji ) To tak na każdej aukcji- buyer be ware ( kupuj ostrożnie ), niektore są szybko wyremontowane, niektore mają dobre pedigree ( historie, dokumenty serviców i remontu ). Dużo nieprofesionalnych kolekcjonerów wynajmuje 3 partii dealera/ agenta który samochód dobrze sprawdzi przed kupnem i poradzi ci dobże do jakiej ceny się bić.

no to ja sie domyslam ze rozsadny nie kupi byle czego. Ale najbardziej mnie rozczarowały te ponoć niefabryczne wykończenia

No to jest inna sprawa. 1. hot rod modyfikacja antykow to amerykanska tradycja, 2. bardzo popularne ostatnio jest tak zwane resto- mod gdzie stare nadwozie sie stawia na nowe elementy ( podwozie, silnik, wnetrze itd )...
kazdy ma swoj gust i zbiera co lubi, oczywiscie prawdziwi kolekcjonerzy kupuja tylko samochody 100% autentyczne i prawidlowe.
