Thanks, very interesting to see pictures from public transport in polish cities.
It looks like a lot has changed. The systems in Poland are getting more and more modern!

Maybe someone has a website with pictures from polish transport pics!?

Anyway, can´t wait to see pics from other polish cities!

I wonder if there are any trolley-bus BRT systems with dedicated lanes.

Gdansk light train (TRAMS)

Tram's network map:

ALSTOM CITADIS
-new trams,bought as new.
-NGd/99
-low floor percentage: 70%
-max speed [km ph]: 80
-production year: 1999/2000
-weight: 30t; length: 26,6 m
-sitting places: 49; standing places: 270
-from web page:

Type 116Nd tramway is mounted on two lowered motor bogies placed under terminal units and on one trailer bogie place dander terminal unit. The vehicle has 70% of low floor portion only 340 mm above the rail head. The remaining part of the floor is only 590 mm high owing to reduced height of motor bogies.

The AC motors electric system is steered by means of an memory programmed electronic equipment allowing for a diagnostic assessment. This is the Agate-Control system manufactured by ALSTOM. Four hermetic asynchronous 80 kW motors are mounted on two bogies (2 on each bogie).

KONSTAL POLAND
1)
-105NChD
-length:13,5 m; width:2,4 m; height with pantograph :4,24-5,84m; weight:16,5 t
-sitting places:20; standing places: 105
-max speed [km ph] : 70
-in my opinion: old and not really comfortable plastic chairs, noisy tram

2)
-105Na 'bulwa'
-second (new) face of old tram, the same inside

3)
-114Na
-low floor percentage:~ 15%
-length: 26 m
-weight :34t
-sitting places:36; standing places 253; entrance width: 1,3 m
-70 km ph
-old tram after big changes, two cars in one train,a bit comfortable

N8C
Before the renovation this were two-moduled, 6-axles, high-floor tramcars, but extra low-floor modules with it's trolleys were added.
N8c tram cars were made in 1978-83, and used in Dortmund (Germany). Two of them were bought, but next 44 ones are waiting to replace old 105Na tramcars in Gdansk. These cars have chopper acceleration systems.
The cars may be used as two-directional. They have traditional pantographs. Indoors, upholstered, wooden sitts, which are going to be replaced with newer ones. Doors opened towards inside, each of two parts

length: 25,9 m
width: 2,33m
height: 3,65m
max speed: 70km/h
acceleration: 1,2m/s2
weight: 50,44t
sitting places: 255+1
standing places: 171

Very interesting thread. I like some of your older trams; for their age, they are actually quite comfortable.

There are some photos of modern regional train form Gdynia. This type is in use on line form Gdynia to Hel and on line from Gdynia to Kosierzyna.
Such railroad buses are made in PESA Bydgoszcz.

SA103 in night (one car)

SA132 (double car)

SA131 (double car)

Do you have a website of the manufacturer of those trains as well as specifications for them? They look very interesting. Are they diesel powered or electric?
