No. The building at 8th & Grand will be between 30-40 stories.

We'll have pelimanary designs for Grand Ave either at the end of this month or the begining of May.

Just because you haven't seen any renderings of Metropolis or Grand Ave doesn't mean it's cancelled. Alot of people do that on this forum and I think it's retarded.

Fact or thought? I do have patience, but what I hate is hearing nothing at all. I mean, for these projects renderings have been on the web since ages, for the exceptetion of that Metropolis one. I would just like it if the developers would give some info. Or at least some lupdats and renderings.Damm I'm pissed off.

Umm..that Grand Ave rendering isn't a rendering. It's a model. It shows what buildings will go where. And that Metropolis rendering isn't (mercifully) Metropolis at all. It's more like a massing model if anything.

Keep your boxers on for goodness sake.

Oops... look like I might have posted my initial comments/inquiry in the wrong forum thread. Sorry. I'm new.

Lots more activity going on in this thread! I'm leaving in an hour or two to spend the afternoon downtown investigating... looking for a condo to buy (doesn't need to be built yet... I've got a good renting situation in the meantime). Gonna check out the South Group for sure... as well as a couple spots up in Little Tokyo/Arts area (Savoy, Artisan, etc.)

Any suggestions for other sales offices that I should check out? I'm looking for something in the $350-$550k range, where the price I'm willing to pay depends on size, style, location, view, etc. Also, can anyone recommend a good realtor to contact if I wanted to check out existing condos on the market? Thanks in advance!

If I could recomend you the best views from a future residential building would be the Hanover. That would be my first choice, I know the Hanover Company is developeing it, so try Hanover Company in google, and you'll probably end up with a good link.

Have you all heard of Robertson Partners? Well if you go to their website they have a whole host of downtown and area projects that I've never heard of here or anywhere else. They have 2 residential towers going up that are respectively 48 and 61 stories. Oh, and they are constructing a whole new town up by Santa Clarita.

It is true, these buildings are going to get built!! just got a response from the company!!!

Dear, I am not certain which buildings you found on the Internet because I cannot find them. But we have two buildings that will be announced in the Los Angeles Times sometime around April 23, in just the next few weeks. The City House is 60 stories and the Olympic is 50 stories. The buildings are funded and will be built. The construction will start in about a year. The sales office is being set up at the corner of Flower and Olympic. The sales office, which will have everything about the buildings, will be ready in January or February of 2007.

I appreciate your interest!
