اكتملت الإستعدادات لإفتتاح، «كبري طائر السوق المركزي الخرطوم» الذي بدأ العمل به، منذ يناير العام الماضي وفي زيارة ميدانية وقفت «آخر لحظة» نهار أمس على اللمسات الأخيرة التي تجريها الشركات المنفذة توطئة لافتتاح وذكر أحد المهندسين أن طول الكبري والمقتربات يبلغ، 096 متر والمقتربات هي الربط بين الشوارع القديمة والحديقة أسفل الكبري.. وأضاف أن طول الفتحة تحت الكبري، 06 متر وهي عبارة عن فتحتين وu-turn وأشار إلى أن الكبري به مسارات كل ثلاثة في اتجاه وأن عرض الكبري 17.22 متر عبارة عن أربعة مسارات مارتين بكل اتجاه. وقال أن الكبري يتألف من جسم خرساني مكون من دعامتين وثلاثة ركائز ونظام تثبيت للتربة يدعى بنظام mse وفقاً للمواصفات بجنوب أفريقيا. وعن تكلفة المشروع قال ان تكلفته بلغت، 16.500 مليون جنيه سوداني، وأن تنفيذه، وقفت عليه عدد من الشركات. ورصدت «آخر لحظة»، وجود عدد من المحلات الواقعة أسفل النفق أبرزها كافتريا ومحل لبيع الرصيد بإسم «النفق
