I'm loving the curves, almost like a lady in a wedding gown with the veil sweeping the landscape.
I really hope this gets built in a strategic area like Nakasero. Now I'm wishing they had moved the Hilton slightly down the hill and put this in its place.

So a new proposal for a 200-metre tower with a floor area of over 100,000 sq m is gonna spring up in Kampala? It probably looks like a pipedream or the architect made it look like Kampala was going through an oil boom. If this tower is built in real life, can this lead to development of a central business district, which I doubt Kampala currently has? Whoever thought of this must have a "never say never" attitude. Also, hardly any building (or skyscraper) in the entire African continent has a floor area of over 100,000 sq m (Africa's existing tallest building, the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg, has a 75,000 sq m floor area). Also, Kampala is a city built on seven or more hills, so where is the most appropriate site in the city for a tower of this size and height?

Quote:
2.pipe dream .... its a render for a project the government is planning to build. 3. Kampala does have a CBD this is only the most recent tower to be planned to join . there's a tower at 36 storeys currently rising in Kampala (Kingdom Kampala complex). 4. Kampala isn't built on 7 hills that's an expression . it was originally but now its more like 30-40 as the city growing its population is 3-4 million . 5. Uganda is going through a construction boom although the oil isn't being used yet the government have already made $3 billion from the oil. 6. next time read the report properly research the project and city with up to date information before you begin to make assumptions thank you . 7. Kampala central district has plenty of room and appropriate space for towers that why so many new offices are being built there .the scarcity of office space has seen offices built in residential areas ,land is far more expensive than before and this is fueling the city's growth. 8.what does the achievements of the rest of Africa have to do with a tower rising in Kampala . there doesn't have to be other towers of similar height and build for Kampala to venture on and build this office. Kingdom Kampala Complex 36 storeys 150m
