believe it or not, we have 60+ completed buildings with 150m++ height... for the u/c and proposed, you can check the Philippine Projects on the Rise here in SSC... we are building twin towers, and developments with 4 to 8 or more tall buildings just like the Nuvo City....

Makati City alone have some 15-20 buildings u/c with 150m+ height... if we're going the add the proposed/approved that will be 30+++
we also have u/c projects in the city of Manila, Taguig, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro & Rest of Metro Manila.

There are only 57 on the list according to wiki, + the 3 new = 60.. but again, there are also several buildings in the country especially in Metro Manila with unaccounted / unofficial height, so I will now make it 70+

That must have been a lot of work. Well done! Are all of these in Metro Manila or are there other metros in the Philippines with tall building?

The reason I ask is that I have a 200 m+ thread on SSC. It took so much work to keep updated that I left it alone a few months ago. It's a list of buildings to roof height, so I disregard spires and antennas. Out of those 15 you have in blue, which ones are 200m or taller by roof height. I only have 8 buildings listed for Manila.

With your help, I could update the Manila data.

of the buildings in blue, only 8 have 200m++ height to roof... (others only indicated height to antenna/spire and some doesn't have a height to roof data) does GT Int'l also included? if yes, it might be the 9th...but the 217m is the height to antenna/spire according to data.... though i believe it might be the height to fin.

1 The Gramercy Residences
2 PBCom Tower
Knightbridge Residences *new!
8 One Rockwell West Tower
10 UnionBank Plaza
12 Golden Empire Tower
14 Philamlife Tower
15 Summit One Tower

:P

skyscraperpage is very outdated and many buildings, especially, residential towers, are not accounted for.

example: this tower (Infinity Tower)

now we already have 60 buildings completed with 150m+ height because of the 3 buildings you mentioned (Infinity, Zuellig & KB).. so it will also be possible that we have 70+ buildings completed since a lot more are still unaccounted..

and after 6-11 more months, 5 buildings will be added to the Top60 list above...

Birch Tower Manila - 178m - 50fl
Hotel Limketkai - 159m - 36fl
The Beacon Roces Tower - 158m - 44fl
Lancaster Suites Two - 158m - 42fl
Wharton Parksuites - 154m - 39fl

sorry not everything has infos online, especially in some 3rd world countries with less information easily accessible to the public.. the most you could get for some are estimates.

I think the most common standard measurement should be used, similar to how CTBUH officially define the Tallest Buildings.

The CTBUH resource is already available, but roof height data is harder to come by. I specifically wanted to look at roof heights, that's why I made the thread. It's a truer representation as I'm trying to avoid this:

It was fun to compile, but quickly became a beast! I had lots of great reliable contributors which made it easier.

Many Buildings in Manila Have no or without official measurement
Indeed, not to mention the other buildings behind too..we even have entire CBDs with no known official measurements

another example

in other countries buildings like this would have an official height, but sadly not in ours...
not a single building in this photo have known measurements,
even if they are 30f+ or 40f+ like the ones below & even if they have been there for years. Many places in Manila are like this.

I think we need more transparency

I accept the standard measurement more, & this site too that's why Chrysler Building won the supertall cup even though its not a supertall by roof height
but I see where you're coming from, yeah it sure is debatable, & that's your point of view, & its your thread after all.

actually to us... any data for some highrises in our city is hard to come by, especially online sources. lol
