@ pinoys, i think we should figure out the list somewhere else, I mean we don't want to see china's whole list (it might be a couple of pages)

quite interesting, I looked up the heights... the limit in Montreal is actually not that bad, but the one in the capital do sound silly, Peace Tower is like shorter than the Cinderella Castle at Disneyland.

for the unaccounted/unofficial heights of buildings, I think it's more possible to reach 150m height for residential buildings with at least 41fl and commercial buildings with at least 33fl... For mixed-use buildings (office/retail-residential), should be at 38fl..

example:

41fl residential (including 13th fl):

(fl to fl height)

ground floor/ lobby: 4.5m
2nd to 4th: 4.1m x 3levels = 12.3m - usually intended for amenity/parking
5th to 41st: 3.5 x 36levels = 126m

add all: 4.5m + 12.3m + 126m = 142.8m + the roofing (could be the crown)
