Nanning China-ASEAN Commercial Park
It covers 170 hectares of land, 110 hectares of which are for international business affairs -- the rest for ASEAN bases.
With the China-ASEAN expo in Nanning, the city has played key roles in pushing forward exchanges between China and ASEAN countries. Besides the ten ASEAN countries, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and China's Hong Kong and Macao Special Administration Regions have set bases here. In the park, 16 roads will be built in two phases. In the first phase, six roads, a total length of 7.84 km, have been built, with an investment of 334 million yuan (about 40.7 million US dollars). (Xinhua News Agency September 30, 2005) Well it's old news, but it is interesting to see what have they done in 6 years. And yes, they done a lot. Map of the area image hosted on flickr ![]() International business park is still growing with 6 200+ high-rises being build there. 4 of them is already on the construction: Logan Century Center | 338m Jiuzhou International Tower | 318m International Trade & Logistics Center | +200m IFC | +200m ![]() Last edited by RockAss; May 22nd, 2012 at 07:25 AM. |

ASEAN country bases

![]() Most of the areas are finished now, although feels really silent and empty there, neither much business going on nor many residents live there. These two projects are not related. China South city is a private company running the project. China - ASEAN Commercial park is an area in Nanning developed by government and private investment together with all ASEAN countries where they have they representative offices. The only thing in common is that both areas are designed for international business with ASEAN countries

At least there's much progress regarding China-ASEAN Commercial Park. I think the pavillons are open for business.
