Going to Ravinhill is a nightout really. We normally have a pint before the game and then get one at half time. It's good friendly craic.
I don't know any other spectator sports in NI were you can have a few pints during the game and everyone is still civil to each other, even opposing fans! The only thing I dislike are the rude security guys in the terrace who basically shout and are aggressive towards people standing in the aisles. I wonder why it'll take to the end of 2015 to complete? Bit long don't you think? You'd think the two new stands at either could be completed fairly quickly, with the main stand/ promenade taking the longest. Can't wait to see some more detailed renders. I reckon they are still to finalise the design of the stands, hence not showing detailed renders yet. |

I don't know if anyone is following the new stadium build at Rotherham? http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...1432105&page=4
Cost: £20m Capacity: 12,000 Something like that would be perfect for Ravinhill, obviously with a bit more capacity but it's a lovely stadium they are building. |

Just a bit of fun with your mates and a bit of banter without the fights. The security there sound like proper pricks

Actually, there is a stadia building boom in Poland atm, and not just for the Euros! Many Ekstraklasa and lower league teams are building stadiums in the 10-20k range for very reasonable money......worth a look ...http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=490916 the completed pics are towards the end of the thread ![]() C |

The Six Nations start on Sunday and we have Wales.
Cant wait. Hopefully we can get the win and then the team and this thread for that matter would be booming. |

Very annoying it is on the Sunday though- i love going down to Dublin for Six Nations games, but it's not possible on Sundays, as i would be in no fit state for work on Monday lol. I cannot wait for the France game- it's on at an unusually late time on Saturday, which means all afternoon to... "prepare"!

I thought I heard that the game against France is on at 9.00pm (french time) or something?!! That could impact on our players!!I fancy us to take England.... their new squad includes alot of players with little or no international experience. The new Captain, Chris Robshaw, only has one Cap!!! |

I dont mind the games on Friday only because you have something to look forward to after work and that makes your Friday better.

![]() I did not know it was on the day Utd played Liverpool. Best results that day for me would be Liverpool beat Utd, Everton beat Chelsea, Newcastle beat Spurs and Ireland beat France. What a game. |

Brian Mclaughlin not to have his contract re-newed with Ulster! Ulster win the Heineken cup in 99 and ever since have been cr#p. Along comes Brian and for the first time in years starts to get some consistency into the team. With a QF place last year followed by qualifiaction again - and how is he rewarded! Seems a really odd decision from Ulster branch. Anybody know why? Is there a non-rugby reason as this just seems crazy!! Will they still not re-new his contract even if he wins the heineken cup. The timing of this news is so bizarred.

They'd be mad not to renew his contract. If you are to believe the BT, John Kirwan is to replace. Hope this doesn't unsettle the boys before the Munster game.
Hope Rory Mcilroy (allegedly Ulsters benefactor) can sort this out Last edited by plank007; January 31st, 2012 at 01:38 PM. |
