Whatever happened to the one station extension of Ankaray from ASTI to meet up with the Cayyolu metro?

Rain falls in Ankara subway as heavy precipitation hits city

Ankara’s Batıkent subway station was flooded when heavy rain hit the city on June 5.

Photos immediately went viral, showing passengers trying to avoid the rain along with some of them
using umbrellas underground.

Ankara’s metro system recently opened two more routes, M2 & M3, both are as extension of M1, because they have started from starting and ending station of line 1.

Here the question arrives, that are there now through metro service from Torekent to Koru? I.E. – all trains run completely via M3-M1-M2 alignment or each line operates trains only their area, i.e - M3 & M2 does not enter in M1 are? Please confirm.

There is still no through metro service from Torekent to Koru. M2 and M3 operate only in their area. They are planning to align the lines, but there is no specific date announced.

Actually there was, but they couldn't accomplish it on time.

Last year municipality said that the integration works will be done until end of the year. But ministry in charge of building, signalization works etc. It would be better to consider what the ministry says.

I requested information on 26/01/2015 about the dates from Ministry, and according to their answer, integration and signalization will be completed between Kızılay-OSB stations (or M1-M3 lines) by the end of the August 2015.
And the date they gave for the completion of the integration works between Koru-OSB stations (or M1-M2-M3 lines) is end of this year.
I requested the same information last week, and now waiting the answer. If there's a change on dates, I'll post here.

By the way, 4th and the last station of the cable car line opened on May.

Ankaray is a light metro system, which uses smaller metro cars. Thankfully future M4 & M5 will be heavy metro. Heavy metro is always better for faster speed, much loader.

M4 will run from Main rail station to Gazino.
M5 will run from Main rail station to Esenboga Gazalimari

1) Left side, right side or both sides, - which type of platforms are in most numbers in Ankara subway network?
2) Which is the deepest station of Ankara metro?
3) Which is the busiest metro station?
4) Where is/are the depot(s) of the subway network?

M4 will run Gazino to AKM(Atatürk Cultural Center). There is an extension plan for M4 line from AKM to Kızılay. Stations: AKM-Main Station(Gar)-Adliye(Courthouse)-Kızılay. But there's no date about this extension.

1)I do not exactly understand what you mean, but if you asked if side platforms are more common or island platforms, side platforms are more common.
2)I don't know which station is the deepest, and I never heard anything about it. But I guess one of the M4 line's station might be the deepest.
3)Kızılay is the busiest station. It's a main interchange point between M1-M2-Ankaray lines, and with bus network.
4)There is only one depot for metro lines, Macunköy Depot. But there is 2 more depots planning in Çayyolu and Keçiören. Ankaray has just one depot too. It's located in Söğütözü.

M2 was initially proposed as an extension of Ankaray (Söğütözü-Koru) before planning of Kızılay-Söğütözü.

And for the so-called integration of M4 Keçiören line, Akköprü-Kızılay is going to out of service between April 15th - June 15th.

AKM-Akköprü section will be closed between 16 April-16 July in order to connect M4 line to Macunköy depot.

New service map after 16 April. Orange part will be closed and replaced by shuttle buses and M2 will run between Koru-AKM.
