:o

Bless you sir! Some good pictures there I've never seen before ^_^
Well if it's Napier pictures we're looking at I guess it's best I up what I've got .
Here's a good few of the new Expressway while in its construction stage:

The intersection of the expressway and Taradale Road, with the expressway stretching left to right:

The same intersection:

The intersection of Prebensen Drive and the expressway, with Hospital and Bluff Hill in the background, and the estuary bridge at the far left:

The same intersection, with part of the industrial area:

Another shot, with most of the industrial area included:

A shot of the estuary, with the rail bridge on the left, and the new expressway bridge on the right:

A closer shot of the bridges:

A shot from above Westshore, with the airport just out of the picture to the right, looking across the estuary:

Showing the construction of the Kennedy Road overbridge, with the Taradale Road intersection in the background:

Closer shot of the bridge:

Yet another picture of the Taradale Road intersection:

A higher view above Prebensen Drive, showing the hill and port:

The estuary and part of suburban Napier:

Showing the construction of the intersection of the old state highway and the new expressway at Westshore:

Prebensen intersection with Ahuriri and Pandora, and the port:

Looking over the estuary and the ocean:

Yep. The majority of the industrial is on the new land, as well as a substantial amount of the residential.

Here's a new apartment project currently under construction, in the are of Ahuriri.
'West Quay'

A fairly substantial project for a provincial city anyway

Yeah the Ahuriri area has boomed of late! The West Quay apartments are infact designed by Craig Craig Moller, the guys behind the Sky Tower!

more pictures!
here's a few I've taken over the last few days~
ENJOY

An ariel view of the majority of the napier urban area, taken from a hill near my home:

The rest of the urban area (mostly Taradale), looking practically east:

Another arial. The cluster of shops to the right of the picture is the Taradale town centre:

Looking more north-east, with Sugar Loaf on the left, and Hospital/Bluff hill on the right:

A shot of the southern tip of Napier. My house is in this one somewhere

A church near my home, very very old!

A typical Napier street :x
