Spotila , is all that industrial land the area that lifted up out of the Harbour in the 1931 Earthquake ?

Yep. The majority of the industrial is on the new land, as well as a substantial amount of the residential.

Here's a new apartment project currently under construction, in the are of Ahuriri.
'West Quay' ![]() A fairly substantial project for a provincial city anyway

ooooooooooo lovely pictures both of yas! some great shots I've never seen~ West Quay is nearing completion mmhmm, and there's numerous other projects under construction in Ahuriri also. The area has experianced a substantial boom recently, tis neat~

Yeah the Ahuriri area has boomed of late! The West Quay apartments are infact designed by Craig Craig Moller, the guys behind the Sky Tower!

here's a few I've taken over the last few days~ ENJOY An ariel view of the majority of the napier urban area, taken from a hill near my home: The rest of the urban area (mostly Taradale), looking practically east: Another arial. The cluster of shops to the right of the picture is the Taradale town centre: Looking more north-east, with Sugar Loaf on the left, and Hospital/Bluff hill on the right: A shot of the southern tip of Napier. My house is in this one somewhere ![]() A church near my home, very very old! A typical Napier street :x |
