Wow very nice, IMO the previous design was above average for Toronto and this is an improvement on top of that, I am impressed! It's such a great location though and worth going for a but more, they really need to bump this up to 70 stories, it would do wonders for the skyline overall given its location

Very nice design. Not original, but still very nice. At least it has good taste in the styles that it mimics (Aqua, One Bloor).

Yea...I said the same thing looking at the rendering of Spire. And that turned out to be a dud. The earlier rendering was of a better building IMO. KGB |

Great rendering, Charioteer, and nice to have you back in the group! Do you know what plans are for the bank on the right? Are they saving most of the interior, or is it just the façade?

The glass looks fantastic in that rendering, hope it turns out that way.

The entire 4-storey portion of Darling & Pearson's 1905 Canadian Bank of Commerce building will be retained, and the one-storey portion at the rear will be demolished. All of the significant heritage aspects within the building will be retained (wood-panelling, vaulted ceilings, plaster work, ornate staircase), supervised by ERA Architects, and will become the lobby for the new development.
