Swastik Universal Towers are under-construction. I don't know weather it will be 23 storied or 13 storied. I've heard they yet to get permission for height.

AjayGJ21 dude u r correct this confusion was there some time ago.... but some of my sources recently told me that the universal group has got the permission to build this building above the height limitation mark.....well let us hope my sources are right

SURAT: Realtors and developers have used unique concepts to draw the attention of people to their projects at the ongoing three-day property show in the city, which will conclude on Sunday. The projects have been shown as the sixth element of the universe and also merged with the colours and the varied celebrations of life.

Swastic Universe, a commercial corporate building project, has been portrayed as a symbol of creativity. Dhaval Shah of Sargam Builders said, "Its orgins lie in Japanese ethos where human creativity is given prime importance. The sixth element of a human soul is his creativity. This when merges with the five elements of nature i.e. air, water, fire, earth and space, success is guaranteed."

Another project of the same group is named Crimson Court. This residential complex has been conceptualized on the significance of colours in our life.

Sai Developer's Green Paradise is based on the theme of blending concrete jungle with nature. "Our stall looks like a park with a grass floor, a gazebo seating, flower pots and water fountain. This will reflect in our project too," Aparna Thakkar, who is behind the project's concept, said.

For Rajhans Realty (Desai and Jain), Rajhans Orange project is like a celebration. "For us, fruits are symbols of success and creation. They bring success," group's CEO Ankur Shah said.

Shubh Group's residential project Shubh Trident is based on Vastu. "Gone are the days when only high-end purchasers in metro cities look for facilities merged with conceptual planning. So many projects in this property show are based on themes and concepts that reflect the changing tastes of people," Thakkar said.

"This is something we are seeing it for the first time in city's realty market," Rajesh Divan, out to find a 2,000 sq feet house for his family either in Pal or Adajan areas, said.

udit11, Good clarification, If possible update its images also, so dat we realize its progress till date. Btw Its still unbelievable that there r 23 stories towers under-constructions. before diwali it should be completed.

and according to me,the rate at which the cons. is goin on , the building will be around 19-21 fls till diwali and it will complete in march2013 exactly 1 year from now (too bad the cons. is going at a very slow speed)

The 30storeyed will be made by SMC and another one will be by Swastik group and that will be a corporate house cum hotel on piplod(remember Swastik house with pics on 1st page, thats the same group), its named as Swastik Universe or Universal but they are still seeking the permission while SMC have got it already with also 2 20storeyed buildings next to 30 floors one. And the above rendering is done by artist at TOI i suppose, so cant rely on that obviously as yesterday only SMC have spoken about it to media.
And also heard that 2 more construction group are seeking permission for 100metres high rise. That will be great. Such a sudden boost to Skyscrapers, You ROCK SURAT...

And there is one 22storeyed coming up at ahmedabad by Shapath group so that might be the tallest one as i think it has started the construction till the SMC starts work. And ICICI, gandhinagar was gonna be tallest one but since 3years they have got the land and permission but no work has started so i guess Surat's SMC building will be tallest for now.

so this means that sargam builders were asking for permission for almost 1 and 1/2 years for this high rise project
its good that the project is finally gonna become a realty
but still we don't have any news about the 2 100m skyscraper projects, i think so they did'nt got the permission

The cons. speed of tower1 is still slow but the good part is that tower 2 is rising high at a better speed

The amount of rebar used in the columns and load bearing members show that this building is going to be a high rise

hey guys there is a bad news
just received some conc. updates - the work on tower2 just stopped after completing 7th fl ,there are'nt even shutters for 8th fl slab , u can't even see workers on that tower but now tower1 is getting importance and it is completed till 5th fl but still progress is very slow. i think so there might be some problem with funding or some legal issue but can't say right now i'll post pics in 1-2 days but i'am losing hope from this project

Still it is confused... Are these towers 23 floored or else? I think it is going to be 13 storied structures. otherwise they could have used building cranes. but here there is no building cranes used for skyscraper construction. then how it would be skyscrapers?

Well, Ajay even i think that these guys should use a kangaroo crane for building this high rise ,but the thing is that a crane was used in construction of Virtuous mall, surat but still it is just G+4, so i think that it depends upon the builders whether to use a crane or not ,as in other cities i've seen projects of G+10 where cranes were used, and the confusion about the floor count - once i confirmed it from a guy who works with sargam builders and he said it will be of 23 stories, and there official site is also being updated so it could be possible that they might put some info about this building.
But still the speed of the conc. is making me doubt the future of this project, actually i've not been to Surat from like 5 1/2 months ,once i come there i will try to clear the confusion.
