Forum Restructuring

So, the admins seem to be doing some restructuring with the forums...I was thinking we could use one ourselves. What do you guys think?

Is it okay how we are presently or make some changes?

I was thinking some changes along the lines of Kenya forum...

maybe something like.....

Revised Proposal(musiccity + original + Jan recommendations)......DJIBOUTI POSTERS RESPONSE: 2 For, 1 Against

without Djibouti

Also I was thinking we could ask to have possibly Djbouti added to our section as a subforum...but I think that choice clearly is left up to Djibouti forumers like Ras Siyan and others.

I dont want to start anything so if it is out of the question than ignore it all together.

But I think Djibouti has alot of projects and could use their own area.

thanks bro. I dont really have that power...I wish I could do it on my own but Im planning to ask the admins to see if they can

even with Ethio section I have to ask them first, this is just to get ideas first

Djibouti should go with Ethiopia. Djibouti and Sudan don't even border and Djibouti and Ethiopia are very linked economically.

LOL, If I was mod then it would get done in a heartbeat.

Yosef, I'm glad your trying to get things improved around here. Most of the mods focus on the Oasis.. deservedly so as the Oasis is the most wild place on SSC. lol

But the subforums get neglected.

Good idea guys, it's always nice with some fresh change.

As for Djibouti, I think it's a bad deal for them since they will get less exposure here compared to the general African section.

you can try Xusein and Egypt too if they are online. They will talk to an admin for you. Do you have a layout for Sudan ready?

thats a good point, they would get much more exposure in the General sections.

Hi Yosef.

I like the idea of restructuring but I do have concerns. Obviously finding projects for Addis is one thing, but we have very little idea of what's going on in other parts of the country, so I'm concerned the section for specific cities (outside of Addis) will be very quiet.

Apart from that I like all other suggestions. I have no issue including a sub-forum for Djibouti at all. It would be the same arrangement as is found under the Angolan section. It could even be a greater HOA sub-section to include other HOA countries like Somalia/Somaliland and Eritrea. But I'm sure they'll object to that

Yes we decided our new layout for about 5 months lol and we already talled se9 before and agreed and everything....etc so he knows what we whant
