Oh, I've been once in Lithuania but I really liked it. Especially the night in a private guesthouse at Galintas lake. We got free sauna and delicious boiled crayfishes.

Thanks for comments.

From now, I'll try to add more information about places in photos

Here, town in centre of Lithuania - Kėdainiai
Kėdainiai is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania. It is located on the Nevėžis River. First mentioned in the 1372 Livonian Chronicle of Hermann de Wartberge, its population as of 2008 was 30,214. Its old town dates to the 17th century.

The area was the site of several battles during "The Deluge", the 17th century war between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Sweden. Here was written In 1655 a short-lived treaty - union between Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Sweden, it has name the Union of Kėdainiai.
By the way here lived Scottish Protestants, they arrived in the late 16th and 17th centuries. the community exerted considerable influence in the city and persisted until the mid-19th century.
A local custom called on all visitors to bring a stone to be used in the town's construction

Evangelical church built in XVII c. here buried some one of the famous Grand Duchy of Lithuania family members - Radvilos

Synagogues of Kedainiai

New buildings in oldtown

Cityhall of town

Other catholic church - Šv. Jurgis built in XV c.

Minaret in Kedainiai city park, it was built in the end of XIX c. by nobleman Totleben, this park was part of his manor in Kedainiai. Palace was magnificent but destroyed by Nazis in 1944.

Kybartai - town in south west Lithuania near border of occupied East Prussia - Kaliningrad Oblast.

Quote:
The tunnel under the Customhouse of Kybartai, Lithuania

Last Sunday we, a group of photographers, visited a very impressive historical and architectural object. The underground complex of railway station of small Lithuanian town Kybartai - the best preserved one of the earliest 19th century railway station complex and the largest underground complex of Lithuania. Unknown French architect designed the tunnel and builds it in 1870 under the customhouse, and joined it with railway station and maybe with two nearest villages, because there was and a special train for Russian czar (king) Nicolay, on which he travelled to Germany where lived his mother-in-law. The tunnel has been used as a warehouse and a refrigerator in XIX century, because the 10 percent of Imperial Russian exports and imports of goods were transported through Lithuania to the west countries.
