Where has December 2012 for Oldham Mumps Temp come from?

The Metrolink website just says "2012". I chose December because that's the latest date in 2012. I.e. Metrolink should be open by December, in Oldham.

Sorry about the sheer size of this thing, but here's a map I drew up midweek detailing all the current construction/refurbishment-and-anything-else projects here in Manchester.

Notice the cluster of projects around Victoria. That area will be transformed in the next few years, moreso if the Fish Dock site reaches its full potential. There's also a small cluster around the St Peter's Square/Peter St area, and Spinningfields.

Be sure to check out the Salford Quays map, too.

Voldy, is it deliberate that you've put the far-less-likely-than-speculative White City heavy rail stop on, but missed off the committed-to-by-Britgov Ordsall Chord, and the pretty-likely platforms 15 and 16 at Piccadilly?

Oh dang! I suppose Ordsall Curve is a little off the map, that's my excuse anyway!

I just forgot about Piccadilly althogether, sorry about that!

Just so you know - not that it matters too much - but you've put the Fabrica development in the wrong place. It would actually be off of the map completely.

Fascinating how the transport links seem to be the focus of development: Piccadilly, Oxford Road, Victoria and the Airport further out.

Nq, it would certainly be easier to update every time someone adds something to the list as above but I tried it on a Google Maps Manchester city centre background and it didn't work out too well, the tourist map looks much better. I guess I'm more about aesthetics

I'll update it in like September or something, it'll have changed a lot since then

Skyscrapernews already have a google development map. Not as detailed as transport developments and bridges but it does exist.
