Skylines of the world

I just stumbled across this page and quite liked the way it lists great images of Skylines from all over the world all on one page.

I thought it might be nice to have a single place where SSC'rs who don't really go outside Ozscrapers can come to post and view their favourite skyline images.

It's good to see the normal cities, but be imaginative too. I'd like to see images of cities you wouldn't normally expect to see, (perhaps not Damascus though, lol)

(mods please delete if this is already done somewhere)

Ok i thought i should do the right thing by Bellevue by....
1. Finding a better image and,
2. Actually choosing an image that has Bellevue in it. lol.

Lovely skyline for a fairly small city (pop 122,000).

Denver Colorado. "Interesting" lighting effect on the building just off centre.

jeez paris' skyline is quite impressive for a european country i wonder how many people actually know Paris has a downtown skyline. Actually, ill even say quite impressive period.

New York YES best skyline in the world because its so grand, but does anybody else think its not really a pretty skyline?

Maybe because I am an Australian but I find Australian skylines are just the best skylines in the world. They may not be the biggest but they are so "pretty"

The pictures of the Paris skyline are not of "downtown", but of a business district La Défense. The historical city centre remains low-mid rise.

A panarama from Wikipedia of Edinburgh from the Sir Walter Scott monument

Edinburgh's one of my favourite places.

Nice skyline, very compact.
It looks like it's very cold in that shot.

Hard to tell. The Bow River is frozen, but the air temperature could be 20C or -40C.

pwoah, that's a nice pic! Is that The Bow, the dark tower toward the back?

Always loved the steam(?) that comes out the top of the buildings in winter. See it quite a bit in photos of Montreal.

The Bow is not visible in that picture. Must be a little too old.

+1
I also love street level images of NYC with the steam/condensation coming up from the grates in the pavement.
