Yes, Catholic High does have a clock tower, a nice round and proportionate one, but its blocked by the contrction stuff, so I could'nt take.

Seen the finalists of the Lasalle-SIA competition, think the winning entry stands out from the rest though there were some internal planning issues I don't really like.

NAFA IS THE BANE OF ALL INSTITUTIONAL ARCHITECTURE. A great insult to think that design is taught in this building. Textbook example of famous architects can do wrong too.

Can't remember how the Alsop entry looks like. Can't imagine people are still designing windowless little cubicles for others to work in.

the will alsop entry looked like any of his other works just in the shape of that plot. i only saw a model of it in the papers dunno what its like inside.

If I remembered correctly, all finalists have windowless cubicles.

oh.. dunno. a monolithic windowless building in velvety smooth concrete would look quite pretty.

Last time I checked, local building code requires at least 10% of the total surface area of any building facade to be allocated to fenestrations.

Theses designs look better than my school, which could not be mistaken for an old 1960s Soviet bomb shelter.

anyway the most iconic ACS-family building has to be the clocktower at Barker Rd
