My primary sch...St. Hilda's Pri Sch.

I attended st. hilda's primary school from 1992 to 1997.
st. hilda's was founded by Archdeacon Graham White in 1934. In 1988, the school shifted to Tampines from its old site in Ceylon Rd, Katong. The school compound was re-developed in 2000 at the same site. Deluxe and non-standard facilities/architecture was funded by the alumni and school board.

Main Gate (Administion Wing).

Gifted Education Wing.

School facade.

This is the classroom interior. The school adopts an open school style where students are allowed the dress up the interior. Every classroom features a TV monitor announcement system, a video player, a multimedia projector, computers, multimedia teacher's desk, intercom, central security system, a wash area and a mini play-corner cum library. Classes are named after Christian values like Faith, Grace, Hope, Love and etc.

The Hildan Ark, a fully air-conditioned hall where the children have their assemblies, indoor sports, and worship sessions. The Hidan Ark was officiated by the Duchess of Wales in 2000.

Facade of the Hildan Ark.

East Gate.

Covered walkways in the school.

School facade.

im juz as clueless, some funny english school tradition i guess. the classroom looks kinda eeky, i agree. But its adorable to the small kids la. U know kids...they love flowers and bright scary colours. The principal wanted to soften the interior as the exterior already looks too industrial and contemporary for kids.

ArtDeco clocktower

Although it is a replica, it still has every bit of charm as the original one
