You see, in uber rich Singapore, there are no financially challenged students (FCS)... *look of sarcasm*

Haha. Dunno. When i was wanting to go to SJI after primary school, my parents said something about willing to forgo luxuries for me. I didn't know what they meant. Now i think i do. Anyway, i ended up going to a plain neighbourhood school, which i do not regret at all. Best decision in my primary school life, i think.

the fees for an independent school is $200 a month is it? i hope i dont come across as being offensive, and i dont want to, but i dont think that can buy many luxuries... maybe 10 bottles of hediard jam? lots of necessities, yes, but not luxuries.

Hi guys and gals! Awesome Singapore section you guys have here. Currently I am in India, but I will be moving to NTU for graduate studies in July.

Do you guys have any good pics of the NTU campus? Please post if you do.

BTW, does anyone have NTU pics? I'd be curious to know what kind of a place it is. I've heard that it is near a wooded area or something like that.

Is it close to downtown?

NTU is not near downtown.......around 40 mins by Metro (1 hour plus if you consider point to point travelling time).....

Got 2 buses.......179 & 199....though 199 is more catered for NIE students while 179 more for NTU students......so far the frequency of the shuttle buses are rather good (esp during peak hours)......

i once studied here and although the building itself is still intact, it has undergone some renovations... overall it still looks and feels the same even after so many years or actually only a few years...
