NYC, Have we met before?

Ok, guys, here is my collection of photos that span seven days of walking + photography.

My experience, in New York, on a scale of 1-10, was a 15

I had a phenomenal time, however, much of what I saw, I felt, like I had already seen a thousand of times before in the media. The surprise factor, in many ways lacked, but then again, what could I have possibly expected? It's probably the most iconic and overrated city in the world.

LOVED my experience and I LIKED, not loved, but liked NYC. Does anyone else have similar sentiments, I wonder?

Well, here are my takes of NYC, I tried to give a different perspective of the sites, so that the images don't seem redundant, but you'll be the judge of that

Well, I liked and loved NYC and would probably return immediately if I could. Of course we've seen the city a thousand times before on television or internet. But the real thing looked even better than expected. No, the skyscrapers didn't surprise me. There are scrapers all over the world. But the feeling, the atmosphere, the people, the museums... that was fantastic.

Some very cool shots you've posted here.

Ace pic's Mindtrapper0!

I see that your from Los Angeles, from your experience, is there any real noticeable difference between people from NY & LA in terms of general outlook, sense of humour or style etc ?...

Living in the UK myself, I am always comparing people from different cities & regions etc. How people differ from place to place is something that always interests me.

Thanks!

I think NY is a more social with strangers than LA. In NY your constantly around strangers, so starting a conversation isn't really out of the norm.

Style: Both cities have very fashionable residents, but in NYC since your constantly people watching, it's more often seen.

Humor: I found some New Yorkers, to be more straight foward about things and LA more laid back.. I remember at bars, I'd hand over my ID and the bartenders, would say: " No wonder your so smiley, your from California!" lol

In the sense that the sights are so insanely famous and overplayed , that the specialness was taken away when I was there. I'm sure a city like Toronto, would be very surprising , becuase its relatively uknown to me.

But thats just my opinion !
