The San Miguel de Escalada Monastery dates back to the Xth century and it was erected by monks from Cordoba that escaped to the Christian North

Yes, I guess the very english industrial red bricks and even the colur of the high rise, then the green. But unfortunately no Fish and Chips around...

Really! maybe for this reason, there some villages called... Cañaveral de León, Fuentes de León, Segura de León...
 no, seriously i know the history. It's very difficult to see the snow, winters very cold you can find snow in the mountain.
