2012 Forum Meetups?
When was the last forum meetup? I went to one a few years ago but have missed any that might have happened recently.
Do any of you go on photo-taking field trips together?

Last one I went to included Bond and maybe 3 or 4 other folks. Met up at Hooters in SLU. If I recall, a number of the apartment projects around Denny were still UC (Enso, Rollins, etc). Been far too long. Places with a lot of Construction eye candy would be SLU, Ballard, or Capitol Hill. Everyone have their Orca cards? Could bus to a few locations as well. A Sunday sometime would be awesome if anyone wants to get together.

Once the weather breaks, I would offer up my roofdeck as a place to meet and/or start a meetup. There are picnic tables, chairs and a massive Weber BBQ grill up on the deck.
The view is pretty ideal for a group called Skyscraper City to meet under. image hosted on flickr

Should wait for nicer weather to do this. Like the spring.

I wasn't proposing to have anything right now and I used "meetups" on purpose because some people might be able to get together but only different times of the year or in different parts of the city. There's so much of Seattle that hasn't been covered on the SSC/SSP forums. And that's not including Bellevue, Tacoma, Everett and other cities in the greater metro.

I apologize in advance for bumping a dead thread, but I would really love to meet up with some of you!
Would anyone be interested in having a get together in the next few weeks? Maybe we can start at F.X. McRory's in Pioneer Square and then explore Pioneer Square and Downtown Seattle.

Yeah, I used to see meetup threads a lot more frequently...
I've met some people from here at STB meetups, but would really like to see the rest of ya.

So Pioneer Square. Cool. Also Temple Billiards is awesome, btw.
What works better for people? Weeknights? Daytime on Saturdays? |

Both weeknights and weekends work for me. Weeknights are probably more convenient though since I work in Pioneer Square.
How does Wednesday (7/18) at 5:30PM work for you guys? We could meet at either FX McRory's or Temple Billiards. Look forward to meeting you all! |

Ermm.... 7/18 at 5:30 Might not be the easiest time to meet up in a bar in Pioneer Square:
http://www.soundersfc.com/matchday/m...s-chelsea.aspx Edit: Unless that was the plan all along and I've spoiled the surprise?

I'd love to meet my fellow SSC nerds. I can't do 7/18 myself but don't let me stop you, especially if you're going to meet up in Pioneer Square before a Chelsea match lol. Although that could be fun too.

How bout the following Saturday? 7/21?
And we'd want to go where there are projects to go see on walks. Cap Hill or SLU?

I forgot about the Chelsea game. Haha. Well, since 7/18 was obviously a bad time, I'm open to suggestions! 7/21 works for me.
