CN Tower. I like the one in Las Vegas, but the one in Russia is the ugliest thing I have ever seen!

I have only been up the CN tower and it is pretty cool. I really like the floor where they have very thick glass on the floor and you can stand on it while looking down about 900 feet.
The Stratosphere seems cool with its rollercoaster. I'm not sure I'd trust the Russian building standards enough to go up the Ostankino Tower. |

Ostankino. In my mind one of the smartest tv-towers in the world; an strong and harmonic appearance!

Ostankino is so cold and depressing looking. It looks like some sort of crazy industrial plant from the future. That's why I think it's kind of cool because it's so unconventional.
But CN Tower looks the best all around. |

I went up the CN tower for the first time in the late 70's and the elevator operator joked that the tower was insured for a certain period of time. I don't remember how long they said, but it was something like 100 years. What happens after that? Is it at risk for falling down? If it fell northwards what street would the top hit?

I've been up the CN Tower (which actually changed its name from Canadian National to Canada's National Tower after CN Rail sold its ownership) several times, and seen the Stratosphere up close, but haven't seen Ostankino in person. Ostankino's pretty depressing looking, sort of a poor man's CN. Kinda like something a movie from the 50s would portray as the scary "Future". Stratosphere looks less tall in person, maybe because of the white coloring and faux-Space Needle looking shape. CN Tower by far!

Here's a proper photo of the CN Tower, (I'm just getting an anti-leeching photo here):
And since "other" is an option in the poll, here's a few others: Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai: ![]() Tianjin TV Tower:
