I have a feeling that introduction of night flights were meant to decongest NAIA rather than promote tourism- If you fly in and arrive at night, you lose a day going around so it doesn't necessarily help tourism/travellers.
I hope they would improve RXS - and perhaps turn it as well as a hub for cargo in Northern Panay- it has a huge potential for seafood exports from Capiz and Northern Iloilo.

2.8 meters is rather low. its almost the same as sendai airport.
