but of course. and it will only grow bigger once the night-rated facility will be installed. this, to accommodate aircrafts even during night time.!

If I may add, there is only one international airport in Panay. You can find it westward. Its no trinity mind you.

lol, no dispute, clear as day. and that also is the reason why Aklan is in fact the top tourist destination both foreign and DOMESTIC. that I will concur too..lol

But given the fact that Roxas have frequent fliers too, it disputes the fact other parasites have claimed that another province's airport is sucking other airports dry, and so is what's happening in Kalibo and Caticlan.
and in the case of Antique. Market forces dictates.

Okay. i will revise my statement.

Despite Roxas Airport is surrounded by 3 Large Airports(Kalibo International Airport, Iloilo International Airport and Boracay Airport), we are still experiencing passenger traffic!

One more to go, Kalibo is the only international gateway, Ilo-Ilo is not, only the facilities is of international standard and it is not Ilo-Ilo International Airport. Kalibo is the only one that have the "international" bragging rights in Panay.

According to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, below are the classifications of Airports in WV:

AKLAN - 1 International Airport (KLO)
- 1 Principal Airport Class 2 (Caticlan)
ANTIQUE - 1 Principal Airport Class 2 (San Jose de Buenavista)
CAPIZ - 1 Principal Airport Class 1 (Roxas)
ILOILO - 1 Principal Airport Class 1 (Sta. Barbara)
NEGROS Occ - 1 Principal Airport Class 1 (Bacolod)

Happy na tyo kung ano man meron tyo sa Western Visayas. It so happened na International Airport ang sa Kalibo coz of foreigners (foreign trips) going to Boracay. Iloilo and Bacolod Airports are sometimes recognized as International Airports coz of its facilities, traffic, etc. Kulang na lng sa kanila ay ung foreign trips kaya di sya recognized ng CAAP as international airport. Roxas Airport is having a 'facelift' soon.

The presence of Pdp and Mission Hills will attract more tourists to come. Towns in our neighbor provinces are 'flocking' in our city and stay for good.

a little OT: Roxas City naman ang Chief Port of Northeast Panay Island. ok lang.

Bacolod doesn't belong to Panay; its CAAPs administrative jurisdiction that they are grouped in the same area. Hence if we about airports in Panay, Bacolod is not part of it.

In fairness for the Cebu Pacific flight that I took earlier, it was full despite being a weekday.

Estancia is 1.5 hours according to the conductor and driver of Ceres Bus (please confirm, haven't been to this route personally). Compared to 2.5 to 3 hours from Iloilo, Roxas indeed is a preferred landing area for the people of Far Northern Iloilo.
